In short: Code Runner Pro keeps your code and projects on your device — we never store them on any server. Code is sent to a third-party compiler service (Wandbox) only during execution and is not retained. The app shows ads via Google AdMob, which collects standard advertising identifiers. We do not collect your name, phone number or address, and we never sell your data.
Introduction
Kaliki Labs ("we", "our", "us") operates the Code Runner Pro mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Google Account (optional): If you use the backup feature, we access your Google account email to save progress to Google Drive. We only access the app-specific hidden folder — we cannot see your other Drive files.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics such as which features are used, crash reports, and performance data to improve the app.
- Advertising Data: Our app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. See Google's privacy policy for more details.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, phone number, or physical address
- We do not collect your code or programming projects
- We do not store your code on any server (code is sent to a third-party compiler service only during execution and is not retained)

How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the app functionality
- To save and restore your learning progress (only if you opt in to Google Drive backup)
- To display advertisements via Google AdMob
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
Third-Party Services
Our app uses the following third-party services:

Data Storage
- Learning progress, quiz scores, and badges are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences
- If you enable Google Drive backup, a copy of your progress is stored in your personal Google Drive account
- Android Auto Backup may store app data in your Google account automatically
Children's Privacy
Our app does not specifically target children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is an educational tool suitable for all ages.
Data Retention
- Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data
- Google Drive backup data remains in your Google account until you manually delete it
Your Rights
You can:
- Delete your local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling
- Delete your Google Drive backup by signing out in Settings
- Opt out of personalized ads in your device's Google settings
Security
We use commercially acceptable means to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
